DULUTH, MN – September 23, 2020 – North Shore Bank announced that Julie Reinemann, Mortgage Loan Originator at the Bank for more than 26 years, has retired from her position. Reinemann joined North Shore Bank in 1994 and quickly became one of the Bank’s leading Mortgage Loan Originators. Her acute knowledge of the local real estate market, attention to detail and drive to close deals for her clients made her invaluable to North Shore Mortgage and earned her fierce client loyalty.
With over 46 years in the real estate business, Julie started out as a bookkeeper for Western Realty. She then worked in mortgage lending for Northern City National Bank, First Bank (now U.S. Bank), St. Louis County Federal Savings and Loan and North Shore Bank/North Shore Mortgage.
During her highly successful career at North Shore Bank, Reinemann closed nearly 7,000 loans for homebuyers, those building homes, and those refinancing — for a total dollar volume of over $1 billion. Julie has been repeatedly recognized by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency at the platinum-level in their Top Producer Program. Platinum-level loan officers produce either 3% or more of regional production in the 11-County Metro or 12% or more in Greater Minnesota regions. She will receive an award for earning the most Platinum recognitions in Greater Minnesota later this year.
“Julie is one of the most successful loan originators to ever work in our market,” said Ken Johnson, North Shore Bank President and CEO. “It has truly been an honor to work with her for so many years.”
Although Reinemann will be stepping back from her role as a Mortgage Loan Originator, she will continue to serve the Bank as a Mortgage Loan Consultant. “Julie helped forge North Shore Mortgage as we know it today and has been an extremely valued part of our team since day one,” said Joe Johnson, Senior Vice President of North Shore Bank. “Her incredible work ethic and dedication to each of her clients has been a model for our team and we are pleased that she will continue to serve as a resource for us into the future.”
