Bob Falsani, Jim Balmer and Jim Peterson, partners in the law firm that bears their names, will all be included again as Minnesota Super Lawyers in 2021. This is the 28th year for Falsani, 23rd for Balmer and 21st for Peterson.
Selection is based upon peer nomination and evaluation combined with independent research. Only 5% of all Minnesota lawyers are so honored.
Falsani has published over eighty articles on Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury litigation and lectures widely on the subjects. Included as a Best Lawyer in America, he is the only lawyer in the State of Minnesota to be selected by his peers for both the American Board of Trial Advocacy and as a College of Worker’s Compensation Lawyers’ fellow. In 2009 he received the Minnesota Association for Justice’s highest honor – The Lifetime Achievement Award.
Balmer has been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America for many years. A diplomat of the American Board of Trial Advocacy, he has lectured extensively on trial tactics, court rules and evidentiary issues.
Also a Best Lawyer in America, Peterson served on the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Association for Justice for ten years.
All three attorneys are certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and as a Senior Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Stephanie Balmer, also a firm partner, has once again been named a Minnesota Rising Star for 2021. She serves on the Board of Governors for the Minnesota Association For Justice and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Governing Council. She was recently appointed to the Wisconsin Pro Bono Honor Society for legal services to the poor.
Founded in 1975, Falsani, Balmer, Peterson & Balmer has an extensive practice in personal injury, worker’s compensation and Social Security disability law in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
