MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Assembly Republican Speaker Robin Vos’ popcorn company received tens of thousands of dollars through a federal small business lending program intended to support the economy during the coronavirus pandemic, according to data released Monday.
Robin J. Vos Enterprises in Burlington received between $150,000 and $350,000 through the Paycheck Protection Program, according to figures from the U.S. Treasury Department.
The company manufactures popcorn and popcorn supplies. Vos’ spokeswoman, Kit Beyer, had no immediate comment when asked how the money was used.
