Two more Duluth restaurants have temporarily closed after employees tested positive for COVID-19.
“The last shift worked by our staff member was Thursday, September 3rd. Once we received their positive results, we immediately closed,” OMC Smokehouse announced in a social media post Sunday. The restaurant will be bringing in a professional cleaning service and identifying those who may have been exposed to the virus.
Vitta Pizza also reported having an employee test positive, who also last worked Sept. 3. “Though we feel confident the virus has not spread among our staff we are temporarily closing to assess exposure & test exposed staff,” the restaurant posted on social media.
Both restaurants asked their followers to stay tuned for updates on their reopening.
