This weekend, new restrictions meant to tamp down the spread of COVID-19 take effect in Minnesota under the guidance of Gov. Tim Walz. Once again, restaurants, bars, fitness centers and youth sports are required to make adjustments in an effort to turn around the stark upward trend in cases the state has been seeing.
At 11 a.m. Monday, two MPR News reporters bring us up to speed on how the state is responding to a staggering number of new cases each day as well as the rising death count.
Plus, MPR News senior economics contributor Chris Farrell is back for a weekly Monday morning chat about the economy and other money matters.
We want to hear from our listeners, too. What are your thoughts about the current state of COVID-19 and how it’s being handled in Minnesota? Call 651-227-6000 during the 11 a.m. hour or Tweet me @AngelaDavisMPR.
