Frandsen Financial Corporation Executive Vice President and Regional Manager Mike Gay announced that Mark Lanigan has been named Bank President of the Cloquet office, effective August 12.
Lanigan, a native of Waterloo, Iowa, has over 30 years of banking experience, the last 19 years in the Duluth, Minn. market. Prior to joining Frandsen, Mark spent 18 years with Republic Bank as a Vice President/Commercial Banker. More recently he served as a Senior Vice President/Commercial Banker for Bell Bank.
Gay said, “We’re excited to welcome Mark to Frandsen Bank and the Cloquet community; he will be an asset to both. Leading the Cloquet office is a natural next step for someone with Mark’s extensive banking background.”
Lanigan states, “I am truly excited to take the next step in my career at Frandsen Bank in Cloquet. Helping Cloquet-area residents and businesses succeed with Frandsen’s ‘Advisory Banking’ philosophy is something I’m looking forward to. Mike has assembled a great team in Cloquet and I can’t wait to work with them.”
Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Public Relations from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich. He and his wife, Linda, live in Duluth and have three kids. In his free time Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, golfing, curling, and hockey.
