On August 27, 2020, Kirsten Eggena graduated from the Minnesota Bankers Association
(MBA) Leadership Development Academy. This year long program, which graduated a total of 23 bankers in 2020, provides in-depth skill-building for bankers preparing for critical leadership roles in their banks. “The MBA Leadership Development Academy requires a significant commitment to professional and personal growth” said Joe Witt, MBA President/CEO. “It is intensive and challenging. Graduates of this program should be very proud of this accomplishment and their determination to grow as individuals and bank leaders.”
The MBA Leadership Development Academy was launched by the MBA to provide additional training for the next generation of Minnesota’s bank leaders. “When we first learned about this program, we immediately saw the potential to help us strengthen our leadership capacity and grow our future leaders,” said Chuck Nelson, CEO of Pine River State Bank. “We couldn’t be more proud of Kirsten for completing the program, and we look forward to the positive impact this experience will have on the future of our bank and the community we serve.” Pine River State Bank is a family owned 100+ year old Community bank located in Pine River with branch locations in Breezy Point, Emily, Pillager and Nowthen.
