WDSE•WRPT is excited to welcome two new employees: Ramona Marozas as a Multiplatform Producer and Joshua Hill as an IT Systems Administrator.
Marozas joins WDSE•WRPT as multiplatform producer with over a decade of journalism experience. Marozas trained at the American Indian Journalism Institute and was a student, mentor, and board member of the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA). Marozas joins WDSE from KBJR and WCCO in Minneapolis. Marozas has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications-Journalism from St. Cloud State University and a minor in American Indian Studies.
Hill brings over 13 years of experience in supporting businesses and nonprofits with their information systems and technology services to the IT Systems Administrator role. In addition to internal office support, Hill will provide technical support to ensure that WDSE continues to serve the community with its ongoing broadcast of five free channels to the region, as well as digital distribution of locally focused productions and national programs from PBS and other partners on YouTube TV, the PBS Video App and social media sites. Hill has a Bachelor of Science from ITT Technical Institute.
