Patio season has always been something to celebrate in Minnesota. Our perfect summer evenings are in limited supply, and demand savoring. With concerns about being inside tied to our strange, new world, even more restaurants have eked out space for patio dining. These are a few of the beloved classically gorgeous patios, like Hola Arepa, and new like the coveted tables outside Bellecour. Most require reservations and limit the length of a visit. All require masks and social distancing.
Here are a few outside dining options to be found around Minneapolis.
This map is sorted geographically from west to east.
A number of Minneapolis restaurants have resumed dine-in service. The level of service offered is indicated on each map point. However, this should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases in your area, please visit the Minnesota Health Department. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
