A beet-sugar-based vodka is coming to liquor stores soon.
BET (pronounced “beet”) Vodka was developed by Ben Brueshoff and Jerad Poling, who met at a brewing networking event in Minneapolis. The duo wanted to create a product that was “different while maintaining a local element and story.” Recognizing that the local craft beer market was saturated, they decided to distill a drink from sugar beets, partially because Minnesota is the largest producer of sugar beets in the U.S.
BET will arrive in stores in the next few weeks, reported Pioneer Press. Full Story
