More than six months ago, many of us had to scramble to create a home office.
Now, nearly half of the U.S. labor force is working from home full-time.
We’re slumped over laptops on the couch, crouched over a desk that’s too short, or slouching over the only counter space available. And the distractions that come with working from home can make it harder to stay focused and do our job.
Two experts will join MPR News host Angela Davis to talk about why an ergonomically correct workstation is important and offer tips on being productive. She will also check in on the state of the economy with MPR News senior economics contributor Chris Farrell.
We also want to hear about your home office. What does it look like? Is it working? Are you having trouble focusing or finding that you are more productive at home? Join the conversation by calling 651-227-6000 or tweeting @AngelaDavisMPR during the live program.
Guests:
Jan Lehman is a productivity consultant, founder and CEO of CTC Productivity.
Ariane Laxo is an interior designer with HGA, a Twin Cities-based multidisciplinary design firm rooted in architecture and engineering.
Chris Farrell is MPR’s chief economics contributor
