How do you like working in your pajamas from home?
The pandemic forced many employers to shift workers out of the office and at the start of the omicron surge many companies pushed back their “return to office” plans yet again.
According to several surveys, remote workers say they miss the culture and camaraderie of a shared work space. But they’re also not ready to give up the flexible schedule and work life balance they found at home – at least not entirely.
As we emerge from the pandemic, experts predict an increase in hybrid work arrangements, that allow people to work both from home and in a shared space. It can also refer to employers who have some staff working remotely and some staff physically present.
Coming up Monday, host Angela Davis is talking about the pros and cons of hybrid work. Plus, MPR News senior economics contributor Chris Farrell brings us the latest economic news.
